• Dakota Adventist Academy is a Christian high school that welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. 
• Widely recognized for the specialty vocational classes it offers including carpentry and automotive technology.
• Offers grades 9 through 12.  Juniors and seniors can also take several dual credit classes, picking up some college credit while still in high school.
• Smaller class sizes to ensure concentrated support from instructors

The mission of the NDHSA is to provide a comprehensive home education information system to support, train and protect every willing North Dakota individual, family and church in the methods of privately funded, parent-directed home education.

• Currently, BSC offers seven bachelor’s degrees, two more pending Higher Learning Commission approval, and numerous associate and certificate program degrees

• United Tribes Technical College offers a variety of academic and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs ranging from certificates to bachelor degree programs.
• UTTC’s Intertribal Research & Resource Center (IRRC) serves the tribes of the Northern Plains by providing Research, Outreach, Training, and Education in the sustainability of food, energy, and water resources. Through this program students conduct hands on research alongside experts in renewable energy, health impacts of environmental toxins, development of biomaterials from agricultural products, sustainable agriculture, genetics, geology, and wildlife ecology and STEM education.

The Bank of North Dakota offers an online College Planning Center with information for middle school, high school, college, and non-traditional students, parents, guardians, and grandparents. You can explore occupations, learn about careers you may not know, and research programs to pay or save for college.

The Youth & Careers section of the North Dakota Department of Commerce’s Workforce Development website offers resources for those interested in learning more about the careers and opportunities in North Dakota. Bismarck-Mandan’s employers are seeking team members of all skill levels and you’ll find many opportunities to start your career.

The Bismarck Adult Learning Center (ALC) provides services to individuals ages 16 or older who are interested in upgrading academic or digital skills, earning a GED, learning the English language or exploring career opportunities. The ALC also provides services to meet the needs of displaced homemakers and injured workers. In a safe environment, instructors use an individualized approach with students moving at their own pace.  All services, with the exception of GED tests, are free to eligible North Dakota residents from Region VII.
